Sloppy Joes
After following the recipe I ended up changing quite a few things. What I was left with is without a doubt the best sloppy joes I have ever had! I tripled the recipe and glad I did after sharing some with friends and family I have just about enough for leftover’s.

Apple Risotto
This recipe originated from one of our all time favorite anime shows Food Wars. While I have cooked a few recipes from the show this is by far our favorite. If you have the patience of making this dish this recipe is well worth the hard work. This recipe is adapted from Honest Food Talks recipe. I have made some changes according to both the show and classic Risotto. I have provided notes below that I would suggest reading before making this recipe.

Basic Congee
This recipe is based on Stacy Isaacs, The Chinese Medicine Cookbook recipe for congee. The first attempt at creating a different congee recipe resulted in a tasteless mixture that over boiled in our Instant Pot. By itself this recipe tastes great but you can add allot of different ingredients to taste.

Homestyle Mac and Cheese
I want to start off by saying that I have tried many mac and cheese recipes. This mac and cheese is without a doubt the best mac and cheese recipe I have tried! The seasonings compliment the cheese without overpowering the flavor. This recipe is adapted from the Cooking with Freddie YouTube video Southern Style Mac and Cheese. Let me know what you do to make your mac and cheese spectacular below!

Pulled Pork
This is not my first pork butt however, it is my first time making it on my new Ninja Woodfire Grill. The results are good however not as good as a 12 hour cook using a smoker or snake method on a charcoal grill. I will add more on how to slow cook using a charcoal grill if you do not have access to a smoker. I am not going to lie to you, this is not an exact science. You will need to pay attention to several factors that I have noted below. You can read more about the charcoal snake method below.

Charcoal Grill Pork
Let me start off my saying that this method is painstaking, so if you are looking for easy you are in the wrong place! While it is far from easy, if an old fashioned charcoal kettle grill is all you have like me, you can still smoke meat you just have to pay attention to temperature far more than a smoker. Watch one of my favorite YouTuber’s video on how to cook pork! This process starts at 4am, so grab an extra large coffee and settle in for a long cook!
