Egg Fried Rice

Yes, another egg-fired rice recipe (everyone roll your eyes)! This recipe is very flavorful when our Everyday Rice is used as the base, and is super simple to make. Great as a light meal or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Leftover cooked Rice cold
- 1 packet Frozen mixed veggies or whatever veggies you prefer
- 1/4 cup Light Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Mirin
- 1 teaspoon MSG
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil any cooking oil will do
Instructions
- In a large frying pan over high heat, add 1 Tablespoon oil. Heat the oil until hot.
- Add the eggs and cook, stirring continuously breaking the eggs into small pieces. Remove the eggs from the pan and set aside.
- Add the rest of the oil to the pan. Add the rice and cook for 2 - 3 minutes stirring constantly.
- Add the vegetables and continue to cook the rice mixture for 5 - 10 minutes or until vegetables are warmed through.
- Add the eggs, soy sauce, mirin, and MSG. Stir to Combine and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve.
Notes
- We use a packet of frozen vegetables which includes carrots, corn, and green beans, but you can switch this out for whatever already cooked veggies you prefer.
