Amazing Turkey Gravy

This gravy made from the leftover turkey bones makes for a truly great Thanksgiving leftover dish. Serve this with leftover turkey over noodles, rice or potatoes for a meal even better than the original!
Equipment
- Large saucepan
Ingredients
- 6 cups Turkey stock
- ½ cup Dry white wine
- 1 cup Yellow onion. diced about ½ an onion
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 teaspoons Marmite
- 1 teaspoon Rosemary salt or kosher salt
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 6 Tablespoons Butter 1 stick
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 Tablespoons butter. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes until softened. Add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 more minute or until fragrant.
- Add the remaining 6 Tablespoons butter and flour. Cook the roux for 2 minutes or until the raw flour smell dissipates.
- Slowly add the wine and stock. Bring the gravy to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Add the marmite and seasoning. Continue to cook the gravy until thickened. Keep warm until ready to serve.
