Pumpkin French Toast

Who doesn't like french toast but with a fall twist add some pumpkin!
Equipment
- 1 non stick pan
- 1 mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk whole or oatmilk
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 sprinkles allspice
- 6 slices homemade or texas toast bread we cut the bread into slices, made it easy to dunk into maple syrup. You can also use any bread of your choice
- 2 tbps un-salted butter this is to keep the pan from not sticking
Instructions
- Set a large non-stick pan over medium heat, add butter and melt.
- In mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and allspice.
- Dump the slicked bread into the egg mixture, add to the hot pan. Flip toast both sides to get fully coated and then place on the hot skillet.
- Cook until each side is golden brown (or darker color but not burnt), about 2-3 minutes on each side. Unless you are doing 1 slice of bread it will take 4-5 minutes.
- Then keep warm in the oven, or they are ready to eat!
Notes
- We love this is slices make it easy to eat, and easy to clean up! We used our homemade fresh bread and it was fantastic!
