Pizza Sauce

Honestly, we know the store-bought Mariana is so sugary and you end up hating it. So make it at home, its so cheap and easy to do!
Ingredients
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ounces tomato paste 1 can
- 15 ounces diced fire roasted tomatoes 1 can
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon whte balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of Badia Complete Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Over medium heat, add the oil. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add the red wine and cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce the alcohol.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Using the immersion blender, blend until smooth. If using a blender, combine all ingredients in the blender process until smooth, and add to pot.
- Over low heat, cover the sauce and let simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool before storing in refrigerator.
