This Pizza Sauce is great for pizzas (obviously!),
but can also be used on pasta or as a dip for bread sticks or whatever. Its so easy to make and very economical. And we like it better than the store-bought. Its great on our French Bread or our Quick and Easy Pizza.

This recipe makes a pizza sauce that's much better than store bought, and is very economical. And if it makes more than you need, you can freeze the leftover for next time!

- Immersion blender or blender
Ingredients
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 Tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ounces Tomato paste
- 15 ounces Diced fire roasted tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Red wine
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon White balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Badia Complete Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the oil. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add the red wine and cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce the alcohol.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Using the immersion blender, blend until smooth. If using a blender, combine all ingredients in the blender and process until smooth, and add to pot.
- Over low heat, cover the sauce and let simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool before storing in refrigerator.
