Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats
Can’t get eaiser than 3 ingredents to make the same rice krispie treats as home! These are also great for parties like Halloween or Christmas you can make them your own by adding vanilla or chocolate drizzle on top or sprikels to make it more festive for each season or holiday.

Equipment
- 1 9 x 13 baking dish
Ingredients
- ¼ cup salted butter and 1 tablespoon of salted butter
- 4 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 5 cups crispy rice cereal
- Optional food dye to get darker color add 8 to 12 drops change as you desire
- Optional 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepair a 9x13 baking dish and either use wax paper or butter the dish.
- First melt all salted butter into a pot of your choice, after the butter has almost melted complety.
- Add in the all mini marshmallows, (this is where I added in the vanilla and the food dye its optional skip if you are not doing this)
- Once the marshmellows have mixed together and are fully incorporated cook on medium-low heat for 2 minutes.
- After take it off the heat and add in the 5 cups of rice krispies.
- Mix well with the marshmallows and the rice krispies.
- Then firmly press into the 9x13 baking dish and allow to cool.
- Ater 15 minutes has passed its ready to be cut into 2 x2 inches or if you want to use a cookie cutter you can.
- Enjoy!
Notes
So with the food coloring I was making purple I had red dye and blue dye. I used 4 drops of each and got a light colored purple. Total of 8 drops total with 2 of the purple neon dye. If you want a darker purple keep adding more drops.
