Easy - Bread Machine Bread

This is a very basic bread machine bread, and its our favorite go-to! You can take this and make it your own by adding your stir-ins. Experiment with roasted garlic and cheese, cranberries and walnuts, honey in place of the sugar, substituting types of flour, or have fun and make up your own!

Ingredients
- For large (1 1/2 to 2-pound) machine
- 1 cup Lukewarm water 227 grams
- 1/3 cup Lukewarm milk 74 grams
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter 43 grams, softened
- 3 3/4 cups Bread Flour 450 grams
- 3 Tablespoons Granulated sugar 35 grams
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Instant yeast
- For small 1-pound machine
- 2/3 cup Lukewarm water 152 grams
- 1/4 cup Lukewarm milk 57 grams
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted butter 28 grams, softened
- 2 1/2 cups Bread Flour 300 grams
- 5 teaspoons Granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Table salt
- 1 teaspoon Instant yeast
Instructions
- Select the recipe amounts for the size loaf you want: 1 1/2 to 2-pound loaf, or the small 1 pound loaf. Choose the bake option you want.
- First, add all the wet ingredients at the bottom, then the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast on top. (This might be different for each bread maker machine so follow what your machine recommends).
- Allow it to go through its process if you want it to cook inside the machine. Or if you prefer, you can remove it from the bread machine prior to the bake and bake it in the oven.
- When baked, remove the bread and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Ready to eat.
