These skull pizzas are a must-have for your next Halloween party! Fun and easy to make!

Equipment

  • Nordic Ware Haunted Skull Cakelet Pan
  • Nordic Ware - Platinum - Autumn Treats Muffin Pan - 6

Ingredients

  • 2 Packets Thin Crispy Pizza Crust Mix
  • Pizza Sauce or Alfredo Sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese to taste
  • Cooked sliced bacon
  • Cooked and sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  • Set the oven to 475° .
  • Get the pizza dough ready according to the package requirements. Mix both packets in one bowl. Separate the dough into 6 equal pieces.
  • On a floured board, roll out one of the dough pieces fairly thin and larger than one of the skull bowls (because you'll be folding over the edges to create a skull calzone-type case), and press into the skull pan with all 4 edges overhanging. Make sure to press the bottom of the skulls so you can see the details.
  • Add in the pizza sauce (or Alfredo sauce) add cheese, cooked bacon, and cooked pepperoni.
  • Fold the excess edges over the top of the filled skull, crimping together so it seals.
  • Repeat the last 3 steps for each of the skull pans.
  • Place into the oven and bake for 10 minutes, flip, and then cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Ready to serve with a side of extra pizza sauce for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • We found they were fantastic for our Halloween party!
  • Our first trial was a touch too dry, so adding more sauce is good or maybe add some sauce on top of the toppings as well.
  • You can find the pans by doing a search for "Nordic ware skull pan", or "Nordic ware fall pans".
