You just have to try this recipe -- its so much better than any Ranch you've ever had from the store! And so quick and easy to make.
- 1 cup Mayonnaise 240 ml
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream 120 ml
- 3/4 cup Buttermilk 180 ml
- 3 teaspoons Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons White vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon MSG optional
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh dill finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh chives finely chopped
In a large bowl combine the mayonnaise with the sour cream. Use a whisk to combine.
Slowly whisk in the buttermilk until incorporated.
Add the onion and garlic powder and whisk thoroughly.
In a separate small bowl stir together vinegar with salt, sugar and MSG.
Stir the vinegar mix into the bowl with buttermilk.
Finally whisk in the chopped parsley, dill and chives. Refrigerate for at least an hour to thicken and incorporate herbs and spices.
