Fresh Autumn Broccoli Salad

This is a nutritious and delicious side to any barbeque or evening meal! Its easy and fun to make.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Fresh broccoli cut into bite-sized pieces
  • cup Green onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup Dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup Sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup Bacon bits
  • Dressing
  • 1 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 3 Tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and bacon bits.
  • In a separate small bowl, Whisk together the dressing ingredients. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients. Mix well.
  • Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

  • This salad is really good as is, or if you prefer you can switch out the apple cider vinegar with white wine vinegar. If you change to white wine vinegar, you might want to decrease the amount of sugar used because the white wine vinegar is less tart than apple cider vinegar.
