This delicious chocolate buttercream frosting recipe is great on cakes, cupcakes and any other dessert you need a rich creamy chocolate frosting on! With a short list of ingredients its quick and easy to whip together!

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups Confectioners sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 6 Tablespoons Unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 5 Tablespoons Evaporated milk at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer, whip the butter with the vanilla till smooth. In a separate small bowl, stir together the confectioners sugar and cocoa powder.
  • Alternately add the sugar mixture and evaporated milk, continuing to mix after each addition. Continue to mix till smooth.
  • Put into a piping bag and allow to cool down in the fridge for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Use whatever tip you want to carefully pipe the frosting.
