Quick & Easy Polish Pastry

These are quick and cheap and easy to make. They taste similar to Polish Pulaski (a.k.a Paczki). Through my research I found this dish resembles a traditional poppy seed cake known as Makowiec. Try them with different fillings -- poppyseed, blueberry, chocolate fudge, cream cheese -- whatever strikes you!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Pillsbury Original Crescent Rolls 8 ounce cans
  • 1 21 oz Blueberry Pie Filling
  • 1/2 cup Poppyseed pie filling

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325° .
  • Spray the sheet pan with nonstick spray.
  • Open the cans and lay out flat on the sheet pan. Spread the poppyseed filling on top thinly, then the blueberry filling.
  • Then roll up each roll loosely.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on your oven, until lightly golden brown.
