This smokey, sweet and zesty recipe will sure to be a hit at your next dinner or party. This recipe was created to be cost friendly but you can add whatever additional flavors you want!

1 dutch oven
Ingredients
30ozRanch Style Beans2 15 ounce cans, do not drain
1 cupchicken stock
½cupsweet onionabout ½ large onion
2chipotle chilies in adobo saucechopped
1tbspadobo sauce
1cupgreen bell pepper1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
2clovesgarlicminced
1poundground turkey
2/3cupketchup
2tablespoonsDijon mustard
¼cupbrown sugar
1tablespoonsmoked paprika
2tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400° F (204° C).
in a medium Dutch oven over medium high heat, cook the ground turkey in a skillet until there is no more pink. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
Add the remaining ingredients. Stir to combine. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
Cover and add to oven. Cook for 30-35 minutes to allow ingredients to come up to temp.
Notes
I used dark brown sugar but you can use light brown sugar if that is the only thing you have.
If you like the flavor feel free to use molasses starting a 1 Tablespoon.
This recipe was made in a Dutch oven but you can use whatever oven safe and stovetop safe vessel you choose just make sure it is large enough to hold all the ingredients
To be respectful of cost and calories, I used lean ground turkey (93% lean) but If ground beef is more your thing feel free to use that instead. Just make sure to drain the fat before adding the other ingredients.
