Equipment
1 non stick pan
1 sheet tray 9x 13
1 mixing bowl
Ingredients
1dozenEggs(or 12 eggs)
1lbsBreakfast sausage
8slicesAmerican Cheese
12countKroger Original English Muffins (or 2 packages)
2TablespoonButter(spread)
2teaspoonBlanco and GospalMeat Church seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste(save for mixing with the eggs)
Instructions
Remove the breakfast sausage from its packaging and form it into patties about 2 inches thick. Make each patty slightly larger than the English muffins, as they will shrink while cooking.
Cook the sausage patties thoroughly in a skillet over medium heat. Once cooked, place them in a warm oven to keep them hot while preparing the remaining ingredients.
Crack all 12 eggs into a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then whisk until well combined.
Pour the eggs into a lightly greased skillet over medium-low heat. Cook slowly, gently folding and stirring the eggs as they set to create soft, fluffy scrambled eggs.
Split the English muffins in half and lightly butter the cut sides.
You can either:
Toast them in a toaster until lightly golden, or
Place them cut-side up on a baking sheet and broil on High for about 1 minute. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
Lay out the bottom halves of the English muffins.
For each sandwich:
Take 1 slice of American cheese and cut or tear it into 4 smaller squares.
Arrange the cheese pieces evenly on the bottom muffin half.
Add a cooked sausage patty.
Top with a generous portion of scrambled eggs.
Finish with the top half of the English muffin.
Enjoy immediately, or wrap each sandwich individually in parchment paper for a quick grab-and-go breakfast later.
Reheating Instructions
Microwave a sandwich for 60–90 seconds. Heating times may vary depending on your microwave, so check and add additional time if needed.
