Honestly, we know the store-bought Mariana is so sugary and you end up hating it. So make it at home, its so cheap and easy to do!
Ingredients
2clovesof garlic
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
6ouncestomato paste 1 can
15ouncesdiced fire roasted tomatoes 1 can
1/2cupred wine
1tablespoonsugar
1tablespoonwhte balsamic vinegar
2teaspoonsof Badia Complete Seasoning
1teaspoonoregano
1teaspoonbasil
1teaspoonsmoked paprika
1/2teaspoononion powder
1/2teaspoongarlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Over medium heat, add the oil. Sauté the garlic for 1 minute or until fragrant.
Add the red wine and cook for 3-4 minutes to reduce the alcohol.
Add the remaining ingredients. Using the immersion blender, blend until smooth. If using a blender, combine all ingredients in the blender process until smooth, and add to pot.
Over low heat, cover the sauce and let simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
